Kamloops wrapped up!

A little about this great city……

Kamloops is the tournament capital of Canada. We are a city made of elite athletes. There are lots of activities to experience whether indoors or out. We have some awesome mountain bike trails, hiking, skiing, white water rafting, windsurfing, horsemanship, all this awhile having the pleasure of seeing wild life in the great outdoors of beautiful British Columbia.

Curling, hockey, golfing and softball are some of our major sports here in this tiny adventurous city. We have world class sporting facilities which you can participate in endless recreational experiences. The city has over 2,000 hrs of sunshine annually and only 270 millimeters of rain making it ideal for all recreation.

Threw out the summer there is lots of exciting festivals, patio restaurants, farmers markets,  music in the park every night, car shows, art gallery, museum, train shows, pow wows , live theatre, music performances on the streets , there really is something for everyone.

Kamloops is the 3^rd largest city in the interior with a current population of 84 thousand, and is more affordable then many other cities in the province. We often have the warmest weather in B.C. and 84 parks in this area to enjoy. Sun peaks is Canada’s 3^rd largest ski resort. This little gem of a city is changing and growing unbelievably.

Kamloops is central in B.C. also known as the heart of the province. Vancouver is only a 3.5 hrs drive west and 6 hrs east lands you in Calgary making our city the perfect rest stop and vacation get away between points. Kamloops has over 1,000 lakes and 3 rivers running through the regions area, perfect for paddle enthusiastics.

There are many other scenic activities close by our city which include a famous historic hat ranch, the city of Kelowna, the beautiful rocky mountains, Banff, all are only short day drives away.
